Fear and Anxiety

Fear is an emotion of alarm or agitation caused by an expectation of danger. Anxiety is a state of uneasiness or distress about future uncertainties. Both have different degrees and vary from person to person.

We always have choices in how we react or respond to situations.  When we react to a situation, we are coming from a subconscious fight/flight reaction to danger. The ability to reason is what gives us the ability to "choose" our response. In every situation, we have the ability to choose. Choice is freedom and when we can choose our response, we empower ourselves.

Some common reactions to fear and anxiety:

Feeling helpless or out of control

Being in a constant state of stress, worry or helplessness

Some common responses to fear and anxiety:

Choosing survival

Choices that don't work are not necessarily good or bad - it's just that they worked, or didn't work.

I have a choice and I can choose to focus on success

Everything our subconscious learns can be unlearned or relearned a different way.

Think positively - it empowers you!
